The Institute of Building Biology + Sustainability IBN is pleased to announce that the latest version of the Standard of Building Biology Testing Methods (SBM-2024) is now available in English. The SBM Standard Committee largely completed the standard without its initiator, Wolfgang Maes, who passed away in 2019. The Building Biology Evaluation Guidelines for Sleeping Areas have been thoroughly revised, and new tools have been introduced to assess additional indoor risk factors, such as sound, light, and odors.
