We fulfill our mission by guiding both the general public and working professionals (architects, builders, engineers, interior design professionals, physicians, nurses, and other health care practitioners, real estate professionals, etc.) to an understanding of the vital and complex interrelationship between the natural and built environments, and teach them the means for merging these complementary environments into greater harmony and planetary health.
We were founded in Clearwater, Florida, 1987, based on the Principles of Building Biology, brought from Germany to the English-speaking world by the renowned international architect Helmut Ziehe.
